The harddrive on Susan's Hewlett Packard failed.  Being Sunday afternoon, she was expecting the worst in customer service.  Instead, she got the best.

"Imagine my surprise and delight when I was not only connected instantly, but to a rep that spoke perfect english! It being a Sunday afternoon I was expecting the worst. My issue was handled quickly and a new hard drive shipped out to me. The entire phone call took less than 20 minutes! Three cheers for HP, who hasn't forgotten what good customer service is all about!"

Apple Makes Purchasing Online Easy

PlanetFeedback letter writer Angelo has bought from Apple for fifteen years but this is the first time he bought from their online store.  Boy, is he one happy camper!

So to summarized, it was easy to set up, the computer comes exactly as you order, you receive a discount and they identify what you really need instead of selling you the most expensive item they carry. The principles of Customer Service are all met! Give the customer what he wants, show the customer what he needs, and give him extreme value! I was loyal before, but now I will never enter a Windows World. By the way, the stock has been great in my portfolio!

Great Service At Sharper Image

PlanetFeedback letter writer Edward needed a part for his Ionic Breeze Quadra.  So he picked up the phone and called Sharper Image customer service.  Sixty seconds later his part was ordered and he was a very happy camper!

On The Road With Texas Roadhouse

Usually, when the PlanetFeedback hotline phone rings, someone's on the other end with a problem or two; some more hairy than others.

So it's quite a pleasure when we get a phone call from someone who's looking to work with us on an issue.  Such was the case earlier today when Lori, Customer Relations Manager at Texas Roadhouse placed a call to us regarding the coordination of letters from PFB to her department.

During the course of our conversation with Lori, it was clear there's an excellent reason she's in her job...she has an unending concern for the well being of the customer.  And, by extension, so does Texas Roadhouse.  It's clear from our interaction that Lori and her company place the customer first and we'd just like to applaud their efforts.

Kudos Lori!

Cingular Makes The Right Call

PlanetFeedback user Lauren didnt realize what a motormouth she was until her Cingular wireless bill arrived. Then she went into shock. But a quick call to Cingular and the problem was solved...they put her on a plan that fit her needs better AND they knocked some of the damage off the bill.

"I just really appriciate that type of service, it took a major load off of me knowing that Im going to have lower cell phone bills from now on"

Verizon Comes Through

David appreciates the time Verizon took to help deal with his problem. Because they were willing to work with a customer, Verizon appears to have made a friend for life.

"At this point, all of my concerns appear to have been addressed, and they have really tried to assure my immediate (and continued ) satisfaction with thier product and service".

Martha's Flowers Bloom Eternal

PFB user Gino took advantage of an online special to order flowers from Martha's Flowers and he's glad he did.


I have great confidence in this company now and it's attention to
detail, dispite my original unfounded reservations about ordering from
them.Even though their prices are a wee bit higher...it's well worth
the knowledge that you will get what you pay for and then some.

I wish other companies took a lesson or two from them.

K-Mart Moving on Up!

We don't see these very often, but here's a consumer going out of her way to compliment K-Mart for a host of reasons.  Muchas gracias, K-Mart!

"There were no hideous displays blocking each and every aisle... prices were displayed and accurate, and best of all there was an adequate number of staff on hand. The merger with Sears has been very good for Kmart and I applaud their improvement."
